The Public Media Company's vision is for every community to have access to strong, vibrant local public broadcasting services. PMC is an innovative nonprofit that builds networks of national resources to strengthen independent local media, including investments in next generation media infrastructure. PMC offers economies of scale, technological resources and integrated media solutions to help local public media achieve broader community impact.
PMC operates its own radio-based, multimedia stations and also works directly with existing public radio stations to strengthen and, in some cases, redesign local public media. To optimize media assets within a given community, PMC's strategy is to launch new programming formats to complement those that already exist. More >
